Batista Crump Kali Video

with 12 comments

Elamintal Multimedia has just released the newest martial arts promo video for Marrese Crump featuring Oscar Lugo and WWE Superstar Dave Batista (Bautista is his real name). The trio go through various sequences of Filipino Martial Arts (kali, arnis, escrima).

Many thanks to all who were involved, as well as Tampa Muay Thai, where it was filmed… and pronobozo for the permission to use such great quality music. It was a long day of shooting and an exhausting editing session until 4AM, but it was a lot of fun and look forward to doing it again real soon. To sum it all up in the joking words of Marrese while editing at about 3AM…

“Dude!…. it looks like I actually know what I’m doing!”

Enjoy!

    • Yeah, I’m interested in doing that interview you wanted to do with me, atleast for now… until we can work on an actual project later on. Let me know.

    • Adobe Premiere Pro CS4

      I manually queued the credits and cuts to the music. Some of it is a few frames off, but it’s not too bad… considering over 43 minutes of tape was recorded, captured, edited down to 4 minutes and had to be uploaded within 12 hours. If I had another day or two, I could easily clean it up a lot more. Thanks though!

  3. Hey Anesti,
    nice video, it is very smooth. I’m starting to learn how to edit and clean up some of the videos we’ve taken. What software do you suggest? I’m better with knives than computers, so the less complicated the better. Thanks

    • Thanks for the compliment! As far as editing programs, it gets narrowed down to what type of computer you use…

      PC/Windows = Adobe Premiere Pro (CS4 is the latest)

      Mac = Final Cut Studio

      It doesn’t take that much to learn. If you’re looking for something a little simpler (and probably cheaper), I’ve heard some good things about Vegas, but I haven’t used it myself. Check it out though.
